Jan Cowley - Shamanic Practitioner
What is Shamanism?
The shaman knows that all life is connected, all life is one. And this doesn’t just refer to the bodies we can see, but the space between everything as well. We are connected through the air we breathe, through the ground underneath our feet, the water we share that makes up so much of our bodies, and everything else that constitutes this planet and beyond. Don Jose Ruiz
I believe that by working with the energies and spirits around us we can support ourselves and others to work towards more integrated and whole states of health and well-being. This serves ourselves, other individuals, our communities and the collective unconscious.
Who am I?
We exist as a symphony of selves and I have had several incarnations throughout my life journey. I am a trained teacher and public health professional and, for the past 10 years have been training and working in the holistic wellbeing arena. Some days I am a senior NHS leader, some days I'm a Shamanic Healer, some days a yoga instructor. All of these are me and you are welcome to see some of my incarnations on instagram.
My healing sessions are specifically tailored to the needs of each client to make sure they receive the approach that works best for them.

Healing and Ceremony
Shamanic healing uses energy balancing, shamanic journeying and the help of spirit guides to support your own ability to heal physical, mental or emotional trauma.
Those of us who have found traditional religions don’t quite meet our needs still have a deep soul-need for ceremony and ritual. Shaminism can bring back ceremony and ritual to help stay grounded and feel our connections to the worlds around us. We offer our experience and skills to work with you to build this into your daily life or for a special occasion such as coming of age, commitments, blessings.
“When we heal ourselves, we heal the past, the present, and the future.”
